At Home Repair Help Desk, service runs in our blood. Our family has been part of the Saint Francois County and surrounding Missouri communities for generations — going back to the 1950s and ’60s when our grandparents owned and operated the AuBuchon IGA grocery store in Bonne Terre. That legacy of local ownership and community care is something we carry forward with pride.

We learned our way around tools and repairs from our other grandfather, a World War II veteran who believed strongly in caring for what you have. During our teenage years, he showed us how to maintain a home the right way — how to fix things instead of throwing them out, and why doing the job right the first time matters. Those early lessons in craftsmanship, pride, and respect for hard work shape how we serve our community and customers today.

Our owner holds a Bachelors of Arts degree and has spent over a decade managing small businesses, leading teams, and working hands-on in both customer-facing and technical roles. We’re passionate about creating access to quality home services for everyone — including individuals with disabilities or unique needs.
